Courageous Conversation® facilitates training, delivers keynotes and offers consulting to organizations to transform beliefs and behaviors into results that equip people of all races to achieve their most empowered lives. Through their Framework for Systemic Racial Equity Transformation, the company is dedicated to helping our society address persistent racial disparities intentionally, explicitly and comprehensively.

Over their nearly 30-year history, their mission has expanded from an original focus on transforming PreK-12 education and the United States to a broader scope of work that now addresses race in higher education, corporations, nonprofits, faith-based organizations and law enforcement in Canada, New Zealand and Australia as well.

The company believes systemic racism is the most devastating factor contributing to the diminished capacity of all people—especially people of color and indigenous people—to achieve at the highest levels. It fractures communities and erodes the support and nourishment people would otherwise receive from them. In order to eliminate the racially predictable outcomes of people’s lives, Courageous Conversation® helps individuals and organizations discuss race and racism in a way that is earnest, honest and sustainable.
