The Coalition for Equitable Development is a statewide alliance of legal services organizations, community advocates, and racial and environmental justice leaders working to transform California’s housing policies so they truly serve low-income communities.

We partnered with the coalition to clarify and strengthen their public narrative, translating complex housing policy into accessible, values-driven messaging that challenges the dominant “build more housing” storyline. Our work focused on helping the coalition articulate what many communities already know (but few institutions say out loud): that market-driven housing solutions often fuel displacement and fail the people most impacted by the housing crisis.

Through strategic website messaging and an SEO-friendly content structure, we helped position the coalition as a credible, solutions-oriented authority—one that centers community self-determination, stable affordability, and housing as a human right rather than a commodity.

The result is an online presence that doesn’t just critique broken systems, but invites deeper engagement, shared understanding, and collective action toward equitable housing policy.
